Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 8, 2026
This policy explains what data Ad Factory (“we”, “us”) collects through this website and the Ad Factory Figma plugin, why, and what rights you have. We collect as little as we can.
1. This website
Early-access list. If you leave your email to get early access, we store that email address and the date you signed up. We use it only to tell you when Ad Factory launches and to send you the early-access offer. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)); you can withdraw it at any time by replying to any of our emails or writing to us through the contact form, and we will delete your address.
Contact form. If you write to us, we receive your email address and your message so we can reply. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering your request (Art. 6(1)(f)). We keep these messages for up to 12 months after the conversation ends.
No tracking. This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no advertising trackers. Fonts are served from our own domain. Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address and request time) for security and troubleshooting for a short period.
2. The Figma plugin
The plugin runs inside Figma on your computer. Your designs are rendered, checked and exported locally; we do not upload your files or creatives to our servers.
- Settings (interface language, auto-shrink limit, presets) are stored in Figma’s local plugin storage on your device.
- Google Sheets. When you load a sheet shared by link, the plugin reads it directly from Google’s Sheets API.
- AI features (your own key). If you add your own Google Gemini API key, it is stored only in Figma’s local plugin storage. Texts to translate — and, for resize drafts, a small preview image of the selected frame — are sent directly from your device to Google under your key and Google’s terms. They do not pass through our servers.
- Account and subscription (when paid plans launch): we will store your email, your Figma user ID and your subscription status to give you access. Payments will be processed by our payment provider, acting as merchant of record; we will not see or store your card details. This section will be updated before paid plans go live.
3. Who processes data for us
- Amazon Web Services — hosting, database and email delivery. Data is stored in the AWS Europe (Stockholm) region.
- Google — only when you use Google Sheets or your own Gemini key in the plugin, directly between your device and Google.
We do not sell or share your data with anyone else, and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Your rights
Under the GDPR and similar laws you can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your data, object to its processing, or withdraw consent. Write to us via the contact form and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
5. Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above. Significant changes affecting the early-access list will be announced by email.
